Alex + Maria Koppitsch Homok 2019

12,90

The Homok from Alexander Koppitsch is made from a variety of white grapes growing on sandy soil. “Homok” means “sand” in Hungarian – not surprisingly the Austrian vineyard is located right at the Hungarian border at Lake Neusiedl. As its title suggests, this line from Alex and Maria focuses on the characteristics of the terroir. The slightly cloudy juice is refreshing, light and has peachy & grassy notes. A little yeasty and nutty too!
