Champagne method – but not really. Disgorged. Used barrique.

The Kalkreich from Christoph Hoch is a cloudy, dry white sparkling. After a year in used barrels the wine is bottled with the addition of fresh grape must to trigger the second fermentation. The result is a golden juice with great minerality balanced out with some bready creaminess.
It’s like a natural version of a vintage champagne.
