This coffee is grown and harvested in the northeastern part of Mines Gerais, the main coffee growing region in Brazil. The farm was started by two cousins with a big dream, to produce high-quality coffee and make ends meet whilst living in a more sustainable and down to earth manner. So they founded their farm in 2002. As the farm grew two more individuals drowned in and partnered up with the two cousins to buy more hectors, invest in new machinery, and improve quality and yields. The area in which the farm is located is famous for its art but also for its extreme poverty, over the years they were able to provide the population with a good income and promote positive changes in the communities around them. The coffee is perfect for an espresso base, a coffee with caramel and nutty notes but also packs a broad fruit sweetness and jam-like flavors. Something perfect for everyday consumption!
