Johannes Trapl – Karpatenschiefer 2019

17,00

Karpatenschiefer from Johannes Trapl is an orange Grüner Veltliner. It was macerated for 60 to 90 days on the skins and fermented in amphora, half of the wine matured in big used oak barrels and the rest remained in the amphora. The bright orange is a bit fizzy at first and it has a tiny cool funky nose. On the palate is complex and elegant, multidimensional in a way with notes of dry honey and white pepper.
