Verdeca is an autochthon grape variety from the Apulia region, it was often used for cuvées and rarely macerated on the skins, until now! Petracavallo made an orange wine out of the Verdeca and it is awesome! It is herbal, it has earthy tannins, peach, orange zest and hazelnut aromas and a cool oxidative note.
