73% Sangiovese, 12% Ciliegiolo, 12% Trebbiano, 3% Merlot - Cab. Sauvignon.
Fermentation in cement with 50% whole clusters, using the “Millefoglie” technique (alternating layers of whole clusters and destemmed berries). 7 days of skin maceration.
Production: 10,000 bottles.
The Rosso is a wonderful red wine with nice fruitiness and earthy tannins like you would expect from a Tuscan red. Notes of blackberry and strawberry and a light saltiness.
It goes away from the typical powerful, intense Sangiovese, this is rather lightbodied,vibrant and full of character.
