- We work mostly with Austrian Post - In some countries the hand it over to DHL or other delivery companies
- You will be provided with a tracking link to follow your parcel;
- The bottles are packed in special wine cartons and every package is insured;
- The Austrian Post delivers CO2 neutral.
If there is a problem and your parcel needs to be returned, get in touch with us. After assessing the issue we will provide for a return label. Once the package reaches our warehouse we will proceed for a possible refund. (note that the content must be in the same conditions you received it).
Return due to unclaimed package or incorrect shipping address
If a package is returned to us because the provided address was incorrect or because it was not picked up in time from a pickup location, we do not cover the shipping or return costs.
In this case, you have two options:
1. Reshipment
We are happy to resend the wines to a corrected address – however, you will need to cover the shipping costs again.
2. Refund
Alternatively, we can refund your purchase – minus the original shipping costs and any return fees (which may be higher than the initial shipping costs).
Orders with a delivery address in the United Kingdom will be sent with Austrian Post. It is then handed over to Parcel Force/Royal Mail. Before you can receive the package, you will get contacted via email or a message on your phone by parcel force to pay the UK VAT, excise duty and £12 per package as an administrative cost fee from parcel force. EU Wine Deliveries
If you live in a country where your governments law may require to pay additional taxes or duties for receiving alcohol (i.e. Sweden or Finland), you as the customer are responsible for declaring this. By purchasing wines from Natural Wine Dealers, you assume full responsibility for deciding whether to declare and pay additional taxes on your wines, and accept that Natural Wine Dealers will not pay any such charges, if any.
Any additional taxes or duties(ie excise duty) are solely the responsibility of the customer to declare and settle with the relevant authorities.
Delivery information for the United Kingdom after Brexit
Orders with a delivery address in the United Kingdom will be sent with Austrian Post. They then had it over to Parcel Force/Royal Mail. Before you can receive the package, you will get contacted via email or a message on your phone by parcel force to pay the UK VAT, excise duty and £12 per package as an administrative cost fee from parcel force.
Buy wines from our store at net prices!
If you place an order with a UK delivery address, then the Austrian VAT will be automatically deducted, so you buy at net prices. If you register on our site and logged in, the wines are already displayed with the net prices.
How to pay the UK VAT and excise duty?
Parcel force will contact you and you will get a 17-digit nr. where you can than pay online or in one of their offices. As soon as the payment is done, the package will be delivered to you.
Which costs from parcel force can I expect after I placed an order with natural wine dealers?
UK VAT: it is the standard rate of 20%. If you placed an order over 100€ then you have to pay around £ 17,30(depending on the Eur-Pound rate)
Excise duty: this is around £ 2,30/ bottle.
Parcel Force handling fee: This is £12/package. In one package we fit 18 bottles.
All this will be calculated by parcel force.
