The Vinception from Domaine de Mathouans is a very earthyfull body red wine. Ripe forestberries and a hint of whitepepper in the nose, while on the palate is complex, earthy and meaty with a cool salami aroma and dark chocolate. This is definitely a Grenache Noir with high tannins and great character.

From desk life to vineyard!

The Domaine de Mathouans is a small winery in the South of France, in the heart of the Roussillon region. Aline Hock, the winemaker behind it, took over the terroir with some 100-year-old vines and turned the 12-hectare land fully bio-dynamic. Crazy floral notes characterise her quite distinctive wines made from indigenous grape varieties.
