In the mid 70’s Philippe Lancelot inherited from the parents the vineyards around Cramant, Chouilly, Oiry and Avize. The winery in the meantime extended until Epernay and Ay. Philippe’s intuition and natural practices in the vineyards allowed him to bring out the best of each vineyard in the bottle. Every vintage is unique, “every vintage has its own DNA” he likes to say.
